Since the President’s announcement of alert level 3 with effect from 1 June 2020, more sectors of the economy are opening for business.
To ensure work continuity and service provision to the Industry, the Council Agents will gradually resume conducting inspections and investigation of cases, while following the strict health and safety guidelines.
The Agents will conduct remote inspections and case investigations for the duration of the Nationwide lockdown. These will involve live-streamed audio/video conferencing as well as advanced functionalities that will assist the inspection and case investigation process such as document sharing. Agents will avoid unnecessary physical contact, a letter of confirmation that the company is complying with the COVID 19 Occupational Health and Safety Directives, will have to be signed by the company prior to the Agent visiting company premises.
